Natonal U-20 star Ransford Osei has been handed a 3-year deal by Israeli side Meccabi Haifa with the option of a two year extension.
Osei joined the Israeli club on loan for three months at the start of October but will now get the opportunity to stay on there despite having little opportunities to prove himself in the first team.
Osei's earlier attempts to land a deal in Europe had ended in disappointment after he encountered difficulties with acquiring a Polish work permit.
Now he is hoping he can use Israel as the stepping stone to a brilliant career.
Osei scored six goals as Ghana reached the semi-finals of the 2007 World U-17 Championships last year and is an integral member of the Ghana U-20 side that is seeking to reach the World U-20 Championships next year.
