Former Black Stars and Bayern Munich defender, Samuel Osei Kuffour and Tema based businessman, Alhaji Abu Lamini are expected to be named as part of Asante Kotoko’s leadership, FootballMadeInGhana.com has reliably gathered.

Sources close to the fabulous club indicate that, Kotoko’s Executive Chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei will in the coming days pick the two respected personalities as part of his management board.

Upon his appointment, Dr. Kyei was tasked to restructure Kotoko’s administrative setup while putting the Porcupine Warriors back on the African football map. This will be Dr. Kyei’s first major appointments a year after assuming office and forming a skeletal management body.

This will however not be the first time Kuffour and Alhaji Lamini will be in Kotoko leadership positions.

While Alhaji Lamini – a popular Kotoko benefactor was a Board member in the Dr. K. K. Sarpong administration, Kuffour served also as a member of the Paul Adu-Gyamfi Board.
