The Boxer X Champion Cup arrived at Ashaiman on 15th November from Ho where the last race was organised. The tournament which had already been to five different communities in the Central, Greater Accra and Volta regions finally made a turnaround back to Accra as it nears its climax.

It was all fun as the people of Ashaiman received and welcomed the team with much excitement for the fact that the race had been brought to them at home after waiting for it for weeks. Proof of this was when organisers recorded the highest number of 402 registered persons for the race since its commencement from Kasoa.

Out of the registered 402, 162 turned up for the race, from which 6 winners were chosen to represent the town in the regional final which takes place at Nima on 25th November, 2018. The winners were Osman Musah, who was crowned the OGBOO RIDER, followed by Philip Konadu, Gafaru Aremeyaw, Issaka Awal, Nasiru Amadu and Razak Ibrahim in that order.

The tournament which is being organized by Bajaj Auto Limited and Somoco Ghana under the auspices of EXP Ghana aims to exhibit the unique biking experience of the Boxer X-125 motorcycle to conquer rough terrain, across the various biking communities in Ghana.

The Boxer X Champion Cup race makes its next stop at Nima on 24th November with town activations and registration preceding it from 22nd to 23rd November, 2018.

The regional finals also follows on 25th November, 2018 at same venue (Nima), with all winners from all the towns visited.
