Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has urged the senior male football team of Ghana to go all out to earn victory as they face Comoros Island on Tuesday in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana were held to a pulsating goalless draw on Friday by Comoros in the first leg of the two legged knockout encounters of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana prior to their preparation for the return leg in Kumasi on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace on Sunday to seek his blessing.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II in his speech during the Black Stars visit encouraged them to win their game against Comoros and he is hoping they would make a big impart when they manage to reach Russia 2018.
“The Black Stars should realize that they are representing the entire nation, so you should do it whole heartedly. Ghana have put our hopes in you, so you should fight and die for Ghana and win to honour me.
“I am urging you to beat Comoros Island and I believe we qualify for Russia 2018 and do better this time around,” he told the Black Stars players at Manhyia Palace.
