Division One side Pacific Heroes have expressed their readiness to compete in the Ghana FA Normalization Committee Football League after bolstering their squad with new players ahead of the start of the competition.

The tournament is set to replace the truncated topflight due to Anas expose on corruption in Ghana football. The Agogo based-club beefed up the squad in the ongoing transfer window for the tournament slated for February 3 which will involve all Premier League clubs and 48 Division One teams.

The Heroes struggled in the truncated Division One League where they finished the first round of the league in the relegation zone.

In an interview with Footballghana.com, bankroller Eric Oppong Yeboah revealed that Pacific Heroes are fully ready for the Special Competition.

"Pacific Heroes FC are fully prepared for the special competition". We have the full squad of our players in camp ahead of the competition," he said.

"Our newly recruited players are also in camp training with the old guys, so we are ready to go".

Eric Oppong also spoke about their side's invite of Turkish football agent, Culdan Aykut to scout talents from the club and the region.

"Our scouting exercise under the Turkish agent Culdan Aykut went on successful and it has ended". Five of our players will leave to turkey for trails", he added.
