Three foreign based players have been invited to join the Black Meteors for the 2019 U-23 Africa cup of nations qualifier against Gabon on March 23.
According to Ghanacrusader.com’s sources Joseph Paintsil, Majeed Ashimeru and Musah Nuhu have been handed invitation by Coach Ibrahim Tanko to help Ghana’s Olympic team to qualify for the competition.
Joseph Paintsil, 20, plays for KRC Genk in Belgium whiles former WAFA SC duo Majeed Ashimeru,21, and Musah Nuhu,22, play for St Gallen in the Swiss Super League.
The Meteors will play their Gabon at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 23, 2019, after winning Togo 5-2 on aggregate despite losing 1-0 in Lome.
The game will be a curtain raiser for the Black Stars AFCON 2019 last qualifier game against Kenya.
