Gaish's Ghanaian striker Ernest Papa Arko has been skipping training for 70 days on the spin, Manager Farouk Gaafar said.
The 27-year-old had been absent from training due to family reasons after taking permission from the management, but failed to report back to duty on time.
"Papa Arko has been absent for 70 days. Severe sanctions are awaiting him," manager Gaafar, who has been at the helm of the military side since summer 2006, told Filgoal.com
The former Zamalek legend confirmed that the indisciplined frontman is set to be hit with a hefty fine, yet, refused to disclose the exact amount.
Arko, who was Gaish’s top scorer last season, is expected to return back within the coming few days.
