Ghana’s disabled athletes are stranded in the USA, following their neglect by the National Paralympic Committee (NPC), ahead of the 2016 Paralympic games in Rio Brazil, Sportscrusader.com can reveal.

The Para-athletes, comprising paracyclist Alem Mumuni, power lifter Charles Nah Teye and high jumper, Yusif Hamadu, have qualified for the games which starts from September 7, 2016 in Rio, Brazil.

Sources close to the athletes have revealed that, the para-athletes insist they are unaware of their travel itinerary, as one of them is still in Ghana.

Mumuni is said to have received support from Alexandra Main from UK who raised money from friends, family and his friends and fans from across the world. Whiles Charles Nah was also assisted by friends to the USA.

These happenings are unfortunate, particularly due to the fact that, the event is less than two weeks away.
