The current Asante Kotoko team will take on the Black Stars team of 1992 to play a game in honour of the Ghana team that won the 1965 AFCON in Tunisia.

On 21 November, the Black stars defied all odds to beat Tunisia 3-2 at their own backyard in the grand finale of the 1965 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to become the first team to beat the host nation in AFCON final.

And Peace FM has organized a game between the Black Stars team that lost the final of the 1992 Africa Cup of nation in a marathon penalty shootout against Ivory Coast and the current playing body of Kumasi Asante Kotoko that piped the Ghana league champions last week to win the SWAG Cup.

The Ghana team of 1992 is expected to parade the like of Abedi Pele Ayew, 3 times Africa footballer of the year, Tony Yeboah, the first African to win the goal king award in the Bundesliga, Tony Baffoe, Frimpong Manso, Emmanuel Ampiah, Opoku Nti, Edward Ansah, Abukari Damba, Isaac Asare.
