Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has revealed his loan request was rejected by his side Orlando Pirates.
The Ghana international warmed the bench for the first half of the season and was in search of regular playing time elsewhere.
“I went to the coach and management and told them I wanted to go for loan but they told me they needed me and that they know why they brought me to the team so I should be patient and that they will give me the opportunity so I’m still waiting,” Dauda said.
Dauda had to wait until last Saturday to make his debut for Orlando Pirates in the Absa Premiership.
He replaced injured Senzo Meyiwa in the defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns.
