Ghana’s President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo Wednesday announced the appointment of Pius Enam Hadzide to the Youth and Sports Ministry as a Deputy Minister designate.

He will deputize substantive Minister Isaac Asiamah once he gets the approval of Parliament after a mandatory vetting process.

The official announcement of Enam’s appointment settles doubts surrounding the position following earlier reports that MP for La Dade Kotopon, Vincent Odotei was had been named.

Enam Hadzide who is scarcely known in the sporting quarters has been a Deputy Communications Director of the ruling New Patriotic Party. He contested the Ketu North Parliamentary seat during the 2016 elections but lost.

Starrsportsgh.com however understands that Pius Enam Hadzide will be in charge of the youth sector of the Ministry, if approved.
