Police arrest Medeama winger Anobaah

The Tarkwa police have arrested Medeama winger Theophilus Anobaah for threatening the club’s Vice-president Kwabena Asante.

The CHAN star finds himself in the cooler after he threatened to ‘deal’ with the club official over the weekend, the club’s official website has reported.

The former Ashantigold winger feels peeved and frustrated after the club blocked his move to Egyptian side Petrojet.

Anobaah attempted to sneak his way out of the club by signing an illegal contract with Petrojet which forced Medeama to act quickly.

The Ghana FA refused to sanction his International Transfer Certificate to put his reported move to the North African country on ice.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that the 22-year-old is boiling with rage and threatened the life of the club’s vice-president on three occasions.

He is reported to have gone to his house to launch the tirade and repeated the act on phone during the weekend.
