The head coach of DC Power FC, Frédéric Brillant, has emphasized that the club is elated with the signing of Black Queens midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe.

The American club completed the signing of the Ghana international on Friday, August 23.

“DC Power Football Club has announced the signing of Jennifer Cudjoe, a midfielder and Ghanaian National Team deputy captain, pending league and federation approval,” the club said in a notice on its website.

Speaking on the new signing, DC Power FC coach Frédéric Brillant said the experience of Jennifer Cudjoe will help the club massively.

“We are excited to bolster our roster with the addition of Jennifer [Cudjoe]. She joins us with a lot of professional experience, and she will be an important piece for us in the midfield,” Frédéric Brillant said.

The coach added, “She is calm and composed on the ball while also having the ability to break up play and a wide passing range. We’re excited to sign her ahead of the weekend against Tampa Bay Sun.”

Jennifer Cudjoe, 30, is also elated with the move and looking forward to making an impact.
