The maiden edition of Ayitey Powers' boxing promotion, themed "Power of the Fists," took place on June 29-30, 2024, at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra. The event showcased the prowess of Ghanaian boxers and aimed to propel them onto the global stage.
Ayitey Powers, a former WBC International titleholder and the current President of the Voice of Ghana Professional Boxers, has expressed his dedication to helping local fighters achieve international success.
According to him, this initiative marks the beginning of a regular series of bouts designed to keep boxers active and in peak condition.
The event, organized in joint partnership with Game TV, featured a series of thrilling matches across various weight classes.

Super Featherweight title
Dwamena Kesse won with a knockout in round two against Alex Yartey
Super Bantamweight title
Abdul Aziz Seidu secured a technical knockout victory in round five against Aaron Tetteh.
Lightweight
Wasiru Mohammed, popularly known as Gyatabi Mohammed, achieved a knockout victory in round five against Michael Akramah Tetteh.
Commonwealth Final Eliminator Flyweight
Eric Korley emerged victorious against Adam Abdeen Salmon.
Light Heavyweight contest
Seth Gyimah, also known as Freezy Macbones, won with a knockout in round four against Ibrahim Labaran.
Bantamweight contest
Jerry Klutei Robertson defeated Godwin Tetteh.
Super Flyweight contest
Michael Abban secured a knockout victory in round three against Isaac Aryeetey.
National Super Middleweight Championship
The headline match between Elvis Ahorgah, popularly known as Soldier Boxer, and Ernest Akushey, known as Buabuali, ended abruptly.
Buabuali’s glove reportedly burst, interrupting the fight. As tension rose, the crowd began to disperse, and referee Roger Banor left the ring, leaving the winner undecided.
The event was graced by several notable personalities, including Ayitey Powers, Azuma Nelson, Asamoah Gyan, Samuel Inkoom, and Kalybos.
