Prince Owusu: I couldn't reject Kwesi Appiah request to assist him

Departing Medeama coach Prince Owusu says he could not turn down Kwesi Appiah’s request to join him at Al Khartoum as assistant coach.

The ex-Tema Youth coach will take the job to be Kwesi Appiah’s number two in the Sudanese Premier League.

The duo are expected to arrive in Sudan next week to sign a lucrative contract.

“It’s simple. Once Kwesi Appiah called me I could not turn down the opportunity,” Owusu told GHANASoccernet.com

Appiah himself is making a swift return to coaching after losing his job as Ghana boss in September.
