Prudence Dakurah, a Ghanaian police officer, celebrated her birthday by donating to Christian Atsu's orphanage home at Senya Bereku on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

With the support of Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Prudence Dakurah was able to donate bags of rice, tin tomatoes, cooking oil, bottled water, drinks, toiletries, and other essentials to the orphanage.

Prudence Dakurah, better known as Angsomwine Princess Prudy, is a good friend of the late Christian Atsu.

Speaking on why she decided to mark her birthday celebration at the orphanage, she said, “The late Christian Atsu left us a responsibility, and today being my birthday, I came to celebrate with them and donate.

“I urge the football fraternity, ex-players, footballers, and the GFA to come to the aid of the children,” she added, emphasizing the need for Atsu's legacy to never die.

One of the caretakers at the orphanage home revealed how greatly the children often miss the late Black Stars player.

“Sometimes the children ask Madam when are we going for an excursion because that is what Atsu promised them before he left. The children will be very happy if someone can come and take them sightseeing to explore more things.”

One of the children who spoke to the media called on Ghanaians to extend their help to them because it would be of great help to them and also cause God’s blessings to rain on them.
