Accra, May 16, GNA - The Handball League is scheduled to enter the sixth week at the Prisons Sports Complex and the Fire Service Academy this weekend with exciting fixtures.
The free scoring Prisons team on the wings of their 39-15 impressive win over Asomdwe Club are favoured in their tie against the Police Service billed for the Prisons Complex on Saturday, May 21. Prisons who sold out a great game in the week-end's action with an amazing fighting spirit, which saw them rally from behind to annex the maximum points at the expense of a determined Fire Service team on a 16-14 score line, are expected to have their match in the cracked Police team.
At the Kaneshie Sports Complex, HOSTAC would be aiming at making amends when they lock horns with Old Hands.
Badly bruised Asomdwe Club seem to have a battle of equals in Future Stars when they clash at the Fire Service Academy whilst Fire Service and Armed Forces are expected to sell out a gruelling game also at the Fire Academy.
Other results of the fifth week were Kpando Young Hands spanked HOSTAC 21 19 while Old Hands and Future Stars tied at 16-16 while in the female division, Prisons once again beat their Fire counterparts 19-9. 16 May 05
