A former National Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress and [NDC] and football administrator, Mr.Yaw Boateng Gyan, has called for the immediate prosecution of former GFA chief, Kwesi Nyantakyi to serve as a deterrent to others who have expressed interest in assailing to the top seat in Ghana football.

Former GFA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi was banned by FIFA for life in an expose that shook the very foundation of Ghana football, exposing gestures and practices of corruption and corruption related instances in a two hour documentary dubbed #number 12.

Subsequent to this sour episode, FIFA has instituted a four member Normalization Committee, to see to the continuing development of football in the country.

In an unending drama of the aftermath of this expose, former office holders and high ranking personalities in the erstwhile administration, have expressed keen interest in ascending to the highest throne of football glory after the work of the Normalisation Committee.

The veteran football administrator, who appears to be alarmed by the public declaration of intent by these personalities has made a clearing call for the immediate prosecution of Kwesi Nyantakyi to guide the actions and inactions of any successive leader of football in the country.

He said, “All the issues that has come up is centered on one person, that is Kwesi Nyantakyi, claims of he being bribed and caught on tape has amounted to not, he is walking a free man making it look almost impossible to prosecute him, and so, what is our measure of deterrence to those who are eager and desperate to be GFA capos, he questioned.

”So I ask, what wrong did Nyantakyi do for us to suffer this damming consequences of this expose.
I think the Normalisation Committee must sit up, they have a lot to do.” he added in an interview with Kumasi based Abusua FM,

Mr Yaw Boateng Gyan was recently defeated in a contest for the National Organizer position in the opposition National Democratic Congress.
