Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has eulogized the club’s new signing Mohammed Camara, saying he will be a great asset to the team.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper joins the Porcupine Warriors on a two-year deal from Soar Academy.

Camara becomes the Ghanaian giants tenth signing in the ongoing summer transfer window. He joins Emmanuel Antwi, Albert Amoah, Elvis Kyei Baffour and other players to have joined the club.

Meanwhile, Camara is the fourth player from the African continent to join the Porcupine Warriors this window.

“Mohammed Camara is an outstanding goalkeeper with incredible talent. His agility, quick reflexes, and ability to command his area make him a perfect fit for our team. He comes highly recommended, and we are confident he will be a great asset to our club.”

He added, “Having him speak so positively about our club is a testament to the strong culture and unity we have here. We are happy and we believe with him, Frederick (Asare) and Fatao we have a very solid goalkeeping group.”

The goalkeeper, who made an impressive 26 appearances last season for Soar Academy, brings both talent and experience to our squad.

He will be a valuable asset for the Ghanaian giants considering his exploits last season with Soar Academy.

Kotoko are desperate to make amends in the upcoming season following a disappointing performance last term, where the Porcupine Warriors finished sixth on the league log.
