Ghanaian-born Qatar forward Mohamed Muntari, who recently switched nationalities to represent Qatar, has signed with Al Gharafa FC for the 2024/25 season.

The 30-year-old leaves Al Duhail after five successful years, during which he became a key player in the Qatari league.

Muntari, known for scoring Qatar's only goal in the 2022 World Cup, brings extensive experience from his time at clubs like Lekhwiya and Al-Ahli SC.

His tenure at Al Duhail saw him win the Qatari league title four times, solidifying his reputation as a fan favorite.

Joining UEFA Champions League winner Joselu at Al Gharafa, Muntari aims to strengthen their forward line.

Muntari was called up to the Qatar national team in December 2014 and made his debut on December 27, 2014, in a friendly against Estonia.

With 11 goals in 41 appearances for Qatar's national team, he remains a pivotal figure in Gulf football, poised to make a significant impact at his new club.
