Interim coach of Real Tamale United (RTU), Alhassan Dawuo, is confident that RTU will not be relegated despite being bottom of the league table after nine matches.

The Pride of the North are yet to win a league this season and have drawn four times while losing five times.

Their campaign has been further dampened after a six home match ban was slapped on the club for crowd violence at the Tamale Sports stadium.

Alhassan Dawuo, who is acting as interim head coach in the absence of the suspended Mohammed Gargo, says all is not yet lost for the club with 21 more matches to go.

“I wouldn’t say we’re relegation bound definitely we will come out from that place,” Alhassan Dawuo told www.liquidsportsghana.com

“I know for now our position on the table has not been good, its nothing good to write home about but “Insha Allah” we will come out from that. We will not be relegated."

Alhassan Dawuo also added that RTU will see some a great improvement once the team starts scoring goals.

“You go into a game, you play well, create chances but you can score. You work on your scoring ability and you start scoring."

“The moment you start scoring, that means you start winning matches and you position on the league table improves. "

Meanwhile, RTU will be seeking to revive their dwindling fortunes when they meet Wa All Stars in their next game in Wa on Sunday.
