Rahim Ayew and former Asante Kotoko forward Ahmed Toure are flirting with Accra Hearts of Oak, according to reports.
The former SK Lierse star joined the Rainbow family last Wednesday in pre-season in a bid to re-launch his career.
It was gathered that he agreed to play without a sign-on fee, but requested GH¢1,500 per month as salary which the 2000 CAF Champions League winners agreed to pay.
However, the player returned to his prospective employers with his agent who requested a signing-on fee and a no-onward-transfer-fee for Hearts clause, should a foreign club seek his services in future.
That left the club undecided about the player coach David Duncan has expressed gross interest in and ready to work with, according to an insider.
Abedi Ayew Pele, father of the player, was said to have met management of Hearts at press time last evening.
Meanwhile, former Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure has also been spotted training with Hearts at the Lizzy Sports Complex at East Legon in Accra.
Indications are that Hearts are in talks with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to facilitate a temporary ITC of the player to enable him feature in the Rainbow colours.
