Ghana defender Awal Mohammed will leave Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca this summer according to reports in Casablanca.

The former Maritzburg United man is back in his native country Ghana and there is juicy information that the defender will not be returning to Morocco due to contractual issues.

Awal who is a true journey man has played for Maritzburg United, Al Shabab before moving to Morocco as one of the highest paid defenders in the Moroccan league last season.

But according to reports fast gaining grounds in Morocco the defender will not be returning to the club due to a breach in contract from the club that allows the player to move on if any club meets his demands.

Ghana’s leading football news website GHANAsoccernet.com understand that there are clubs in Turkey and Belgium who have shown interest in signing up the player who was a member of Ghana’s team which finished second in the last Africa Cup of nations.

It however remains to be seen if Raja will allow one of their best players to walk away after just playing one full season.
