Scottish giants Rangers FC are interested in signing € 10 million rated Ghanaian forward Caleb Ekuban in the summer transfer window.
The in-form Trabzonspor attacker has emerged on the radar of several clubs including Serie A title contenders Lazio.
However, Rangers are poised on securing the signature of the 25 year old, who has netted eight times in 25 games despite playing in different roles.
Ekuban, who has mostly played as an auxiliary striker or on the flanks has also created six goals this campaign.
Rangers are without former Tottenham Hotspurs striker Jermain Defoe through injury, Colombian forward Alfredo Morelos is also out of form and could leave the club in the summer.
This has forced manager Steven Gerard to look elsewhere for an alternative, with the Ghanaian a top most priority.
Caleb Ekuban joined Trabzonspor on a permanent at the beginning of the season after impressing on loan.
He scored 11 goals in 36 appearances in the 2018/19 season before making the permanent switch.
