Black Stars forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer netted Hamburger SV's quickest goal since 1998 and one of the fastest strikers in the Bundesliga 2 as his side thumped Jahn Regensburg.
Konigsdorffer opened the scoring after just 43 seconds to give Hamburger the lead in the 5-0 thrashing of their opponents on Sunday afternoon.
A quick start from the hosts saw them double their lead before the 15th-minute mark after Robert Glatzel added the second.
Hamburger were rampant in the second half with substitutes Jean-Luc Dompe and Davie Selke on target. Dompe's brace were sandwiched by Selke's strike as the host delivered a five-star performance in front of their fans.
Meanwhile, it was Konigsdorffer's fourth goal in five matches in the new season of the German Bundesliga 2.
The striker has not received a Black Stars invite since the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast and could make a return for the qualifiers in October.
