Former Ebusua Dwarfs defender Rashid Sumaila has rewarded Ebusua Dwarfs players for their 2-1 win over favourites Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League clash at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium.
He honoured his promise by presenting an undisclosed amount of money to the captain of the side after picking their third win of the season.
Sumaila, 23, inspired the side ahead of the game by donating items worth thousands of Ghana cedis including bottled water, energy drinks, cones, bibs and football to the team.
The Al Qadsia defender also promised the team of a handsome reward for a win over Aduana Stars.
Two goals from Bright Lukman and Nicholas Gyan stole the win for the struggling Dwarfs side after Aduana Stars took the lead through Richard MNpong.
And Rashid Sumaila presented the amount to the team after they registered their first win in six matches.
The win is Dwarfs' third in the season following 7 loses and 4 draws in 14 matches.
Sumaila who was there in person to watch the game presented the amount to the captain of the side minutes after the game.
