Al Qadsia defender Rashid Sumaila has called on Ghanaians to adhere to the preventive measures given out by the World Health Organization (WHO) and governments amid the coronavirus outbreak.
The disease, also known as Convid-19, has so far claimed over 35, 334 lives after over 741, 774 infections in the world, while Ghana have confirmed 152 cases with 5 deaths.
The virus has led to the suspension of all major football leagues in the world including the Ghana Premier League.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko guardsman has therefore, advised Ghanaians to observe the health and safety protocols given by health workers as the world fights Covid-19.
Sumaila in a video entreated Ghanaians to wash their hands regularly with soap and also use hand sanitizers. He advocated for strict observance of the safety protocols put forth to help prevent the virus.
