Black Stars defender Rashid Sumaila has been hailed and voted the best player by Qadsia fans following his stupendous performance for Al Qadsia in the Amir Cup clash with Kuwaiti HH Club last weekend.

Although Sumaila missed out Al Qadsia’s Amir Cup c second leg encounter, the fans have acknowledged the industrious performance of the former Kotoko defender.

The in-form Ghana defender crowned his outstanding performance for the Kuwaiti giants, Al Qadsia, with a supersonic goal against Kuwait's HH.

The 22-year-old All Africa Games gold medalist, who lasted the entire duration of the game opened the scoring in the 25th minute for the home side when he connected very well with a free kick from Ahmed Alreyahi.
