Ghana’s quest to unearth talents in athletics across the country has seen the broad daylight with some revelations which cropped up in the first qualifiers of the surf line Ghana’s Fastest Human 2015 which took place at the El-wak stadium on Saturday.
The occasion saw the former President Jerry John Rawlings amongst other dignitaries gracing the event.
First qualifiers of the 100 meters heats dash competition aimed at unearthing sprints talents for Ghana, which took place at the El-wak sports stadium has come to an end.
Athletes who qualified from the heat have progressed to the Grand finale which is to be staged in Kumasi on Saturday September 26.
The competition was categorized in U-10, U-13, U-18, and seniors.

Speaking at the event, former President Rawlings admonished them to become role models and pace setters, as Ghanaians are expecting more gold medals from them in the coming years.
The second qualifiers will take place in August 22 at the Tamale sports stadium and the grand finale at the Baba Yara sports stadium in September 26.
