Management of Patron Sporting Club promises huge investment in club

The Management and Board of Patron Sporting Club in conjunction with the President and Life Patron Dickson Tsrakasu has revealed a lofty ambition of moving from its current state to a global football brand, this was discussed at the Teams General meeting.

In light of this, Patron as he is affectionately called has promised to commit huge resources both financial and otherwise into the club to ensure that their plans come into fruition.

Since assuming ownership of the club barely three years ago, Patron and the Management staffs have invested heavily in the team and are set to take it a notch higher with the acquisition of world class training equipment, state of the sports centre which will become the hub of the club’s activities.

Speaking to this reporter in an interview, Patron said their ultimate aim is to see the club assume worldwide status and become a model club for football teams across the continent.

He disclosed that his outfit will in the coming days announce a comprehensive plan that details how he intends to make Patron SC the club of choice in the country.

“This year, we want to invest a lot into the team. I want us to own a world class training facility, make life more comfortable and admirable for the Management Staffs, Technical Staffs and Players and to improve everything around the club. This club has the potential to be like any other big team in other world and we will invest to take us to that level.

“We want to Sell Players, Buy Players and win trophies with recognition for producing talented players and you need a plan to achieve this. Ghanaians should just watch out for Patron Sporting Club because we have a lot up our sleeve”, he said.

The Ashaley Botwe-based club has finished third in the Jordan Anagbla Memorial competition which was held in the Accra last year.

Plans are far advanced to move the Club eventually to Ho Volta Region as their Home.

It could be recalled that Patron has already signed a deal with Neokotex Promotions a French based Football Promoting Agency based in Paris, Nice and Bordeaux to help in promoting and scouting assignments for the Club.

The Second division club has an eye on the former Assistant Black Stars Coach now current Coach for Kumasi Ashanti Kotoko to boost its Technical team.

Whiles plans are in the pipeline for their current Coach/Manager one of the best young Coaches/Manager in Ghana, Coach Issa Mohamed to travel to Europe for advance Coaching and Managerial Courses in football at the expense of the Club.
