Real Madrid are believed to hold an interest in AC Milan attacking midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
The Ghana international has been an impressive asset for the Rossoneri since joining the club in 2010 from English outfit Portsmouth via fellow Italian side Genoa.
In that time the 25-year-old has become a key part of coach Massimiliano Allegri’s Serie A champions and often provides a vital attacking link, slotting in well behind Milan’s attacking line.
Los Blancos boss Jose Mourinho is thought to have identified Boateng as a potential summer acquisition, though the Spanish giants know persuading Milan to part with the midfielder will be tricky.
Boateng would cost an estimated €20M and is under contract with Milan until 2014, leaving the Italian side very much in the driving seat over his future.
The 25-year-old was a big part of Milan’s Champions League push this season, playing seven games and scoring three goals.
