Real Tamale United fined for fans misconduct

The Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee has fined Real Tamale United an amount of One Thousand Ghana cedis (GHC1000.00) for the misconduct of its supporters.

Supporters of the club insulted and assaulted the Assistant Referee One (Dauda Seidu) in an MTN FA Cup round of 64 match against UCC Young Stars FC.

As a result of that the club was charged under articles 35(3) b, 34(4) and 39(7) a and b of the General Regulations of the Ghana Football Association.

Article 35(4) of the General regulations states: “The Association shall hold clubs responsible for the misconduct of their supporters before, during and after a match”.

The committee however commended the management of the club for causing the arrest of the culprits and making them sign a bond of good behavior.
