Regan set for FK Cukaricki medicals

Talented Ghanaian midfielder Obeng Regan will have his medicals with Serbia Super Lig side FK Cukaricki today, Goal Ghana can reveal.

The left-footed versatile midfielder - who can play in the holding role and as a playmaker - spent two years at Napredak where he made 46 appearances scoring two goals and was named in the Serbian best 20 players for the 2013-14 season.

“I am having my medicals at FK ?ukari?ki this night as I look set to join them on a permanent deal,” Regan exclusively told Goal. “I am feeling great, FK ?ukari?ki are doing well in Serbia league and they have great talents there to make it up to the top. They finished 5th last season.”

The former Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord and Asante Kotoko youngster was grateful to Napredak Krusevac for accepting him in their family.

“I thank the entire team, the fans and the management of Napredak Krusevac for their great support and encouragement for my two years spent there,” he said.

Regan, 20, was courted by Ajax Amsterdam, Red Star Belgrade, Partizan Belgrade and a host of teams around Europe this summer.
