Much of the focus has been on the ongoing Ghana Football Association presidential elections and its associated launching of manifestoes.

For most part of the week the conversation was who was going to be disqualified from contesting in the GFA presidential election race.

But yesterday all nerves were settled except that of Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer who was disqualified but quietly under the radar Asante Kotoko may be about to take some massive reshuffle of their technical bench.

After the embarassing defeat to Etoile du Sahel in Monastir Tunisia, the talk has been that head coach Kjetil Zacchariassen may be sacked very soon but it appears the axe may fall on some other members of the back room staff.

On Friday, the club's head of legal affairs and administration Samuel Sarfo Duku Esq was pictured having a crunch meeting with the head coach of Karela Fc Johnson Smith at the club's defacto headquarters Sports Hotel about a possible role as an assistant to beleaguered Kjetil Zacchariassen.

Should this come to fruition what then becomes of current assistant coach Akakpo Patron's role at the club?

Johnson Smith has in the past had stints with Kotoko as an assistant coach and also care taker coach.
