Former head coach of Accra Great Olympics, Prince George Koffie has tipped Hearts of Oak to emerged as Champions of the 2019/20 league season.

The Phobians haven't had a stable campaign after matchday 8, having won three games, drew two and lost the remaining three games to Asante Kotoko, Medeama SC, and Berekum on matchday one, two and matchday 6 respectively.

Though Hearts of Oak are still lying outside the top four on the league log, Koffie still believes that Hearts of Oak will break their ten-year trophy drought this season.

In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeb.com, he said there is a long way to go in the season so no one can't determine the league winner after only 8 games.

"We still have a long way to go and looking at the trend, it will be very difficult for me to state categorically that this team or that team will be winning the league because some teams may be doing very well now but won’t fare well in the second round."

"But if I want to presume then I can say Accra Hearts of Oak, looking at what they are doing now, the crop of players they have and the kind of professionalism they have attached to the team I believe that they can make amends and then go all out to win the league," he told GhanaWeb.com.
