Maritzburg United goal keeper Richard Ofori has issued a goodwill message to the Black Stars B ahead of their CHAN qualifier away to Burkina Faso. The former Wa All Stars shot stopper wished his compatriots the best of luck and tipped them to progress at the expense of their Burkinabe opponents.

In an emotional message to the Black Stars B, Richard Ofori wished his compatriots an injury free game and the best of luck ahead of their clash with Burkina Faso over the weekends. The current Black Stars number one shot stopper remains hopeful his hungrier compatriots will defend the flag of Ghana to the fullest when they take to the pitch in Ouagadougou.

“It is a national assignment and the prestige that comes with playing in the national jersey will see you through. I am with you in spirit and remains hopeful we will sail through at the end of the day.

“It is a two legged tie but I am sure we will make the second leg a formality. I am sure team Ghana will defend the flag of our land and make us proud. Go for the kill and make Ghanaians proud”, Richard Ofori reveals.

The former Wa All Stars shot stopper is one of several players to have left the camp of the Black Stars B in a hugely nomadic adventure for the players assembled. The Black Stars B are already in Ouagadougou for Saturday’s first leg against Burkina Faso.
