Robin Gnagne eyes GPL title with Hearts of Oak

Accra Hearts of Oak captain, Robin Gnagne, is still setting his eyes on the League title despite their floppy run in their last few matches.

Hearts after an impressive start in the League seems to have lost their momentum as they dropped points in their last game against Liberty Professionals.

The former Ghana Champions threw away a lead to draw 1-1 with Liberty Professionals last Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Gnagne despite his side’s patchy display is targeting the Premier League trophy with the Rainbow Club.

“You know things haven’t gone well for us especially in this game (against Liberty). We wanted to win, but we couldn’t win,” he said at the post-match conference.

“For me, I still know we can win the League. Is not too late, we can do better in the rest of our games.

“We have to continue to fight, and I know we can win the League this season.

Hearts are third on the log with 30 points, same points as rivals Asante Kotoko, who are in second place.

The Phobians will host Aduana Stars in their next League game on Sunday.
