The South African Embassy in Accra are refusing to issue the traveling visas to the team despite fulfilling their requirements.

Several efforts to even submit the visa forms for processing has hit a dead end, prompting the Ghana FA to intervene swiftly.

The two-time Ghanaian FA Cup holders are seething with rage over the development with the first leg-tie only four days away.

It's unclear what might have led to the latest stand-off between the two outfits with the visa hitch threatening the side's crucial trip to South Africa.

However, there is widespread suspicion the move is calculated to frustrate the team ahead of the crucial tie against the current South African league leaders.

The Ghanaians are expected to travel to the country on Wednesday, but that plan could be altered.
