Outspoken Black Stars midfielder Sulley Muntari has urged Ghanaians to ignore the lies of Ghana Football Association (GFA) PRO.

According to the Pescara player, Saani Daara is a liar.

"Saani Daara shouldn’t lie to people, he shouldn’t lie to Ghanaians.”

Narrating the racial abuse chant he suffered at his club on Starr FM, Muntari revealed that the GFA did not call to show solidarity after being racially abused by fans during a Seria A clash with Cagliari.

It will be recalled that the spokesperson for the GFA, Saani Daara said when the incident happened that the Association has been in touch with Sulley to soldiers with him.

But Sulley Muntari denied categorically on radio Wednesday saying:“No, they didn’t.”

When asked whether he was expecting them to?

He said: “No I wasn’t” adding “one thing is that I am not a victim.I can handle myself. I can handle my situation. I’m not there for anyone to call and have pity for me. No. I was in, I can handle my situation and I go out of it.”

He also confessed he miss playing for Ghana at the international level three years after being suspended from the Black Stars.

The midfielder and his counterpart Kevin Prince-Boateng fell out with coach Kwasi Appiah at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

They were handed indefinite suspensions for allegedly physically attacking Black Stars management members including Moses Armah.
