Black Stars Team Manager, Saban Quaye, has arrived in Accra on Wednesday evening ahead of Hearts of Oak’s CAF Confederation Cup assignment against Olympique de Ngor in Senegal, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.
Quaye, who is viewed by Hearts players as a motivator, will be part of the Rainbow club’s contingent that will travel to Dakar on Thursday evening (8.30pm) for the assignment in M’Bour on Saturday.
The ex-Liberty Professionals Team Manager was absent when Hearts of Oak lost 2-1 to Inter Allies in Tema since he was on national team assignment with the Black Stars in Le Havre and Paris, where the team lost 2-1 to Senegal and drew 1-1 with Mali in friendly matches.
After beating Olympique de Ngor 2-1 in the first leg in Accra, Hearts of Oak must avoid defeat at the Stade Caroline Faye to ensure they progress to face either Djoliba or Petrojet in the second round of the continental competition.
