The drama surrounding King Faisal Babies FC best fits the description of a perpetual source of comic relief unfolding in unpredictable chapters ahead of the 2014/15 league season, as sacked head coach, Prince Acheampong, alias Sabuto has vowed to fight the club spiritually for disgracing him.
According to Sabuto, he has not been informed officially by the president of the club nor any club official that he has been relieved of his duties but read it on some sports websites.
He added that, according to the information he read, the club claims he has been sacked because he has been inciting the players not to attend training and added that they do not owe him any arrears and that he can go to the Status Committee for redress.
But according to the former assistant coach of Asante Kotoko, he will not go anywhere to seek redress but will do it spiritually.
In an exclusive interview with sportscrusader.com, Sabuto said, “If indeed the club has sacked me without informing me and has added that they do owe me nothing, I wouldn’t go to any Status Committee, I will fight them spiritually for embarrassing me in public”.
The club is currently contesting the Ghana Football Association in court to determine whether they will stay in the league or proceed on relegation after petitioning Aduana Stars at the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association.
