Atletico Madrid have reached an agreement to sign Ghanaian teenager Sadick Adams on a pre-contract.
Adams, who turns 18 on January 1, currently plays for Ashanti Gold Sporting Club in his homeland and recently helped Ghana reach the semi-finals of the 2007 Under-17 World Cup.
“I would like to come to play in Europe and to go to Atletico Madrid is a dream,” said Adams, who will play with Atletico’s B side if the move goes through at the start of next year.
“In Ghana we follow a lot of Spanish football and it is a country we like for the way they play football and the atmosphere at the games.
“My objective is to grow as a player at Atletico.
“I liked Atletico because of Fernando Torres and now I follow him at Liverpool,” the striker added on Atletico’s official website.
