Ashanti Gold striker Sadick Adams has revealed that he has spoken to under fire Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Songne Yacouba.
The Burkinabe import has been under a lot of scrutiny after going six games without finding the back of the net for the Reds
Adams emphasized that he has personally called Songne Yacouba to encourage him in the midst of his goal drought.
” Yacouba is not scoring but he is doing well for the team, so I think it’s just a matter of time. I had a discussion with him and I told him not to listen to what others say, he should just keep his cool and the goals will come at the right time inshallah ”
Adams also urged his former employers to try and get a point away if they want to qualify to the quarterfinals.
“Sure they can, because every team is trying not to drop points at home and I think it’s what Kotoko must also. They have good team and I hope they qualify for the next stage. They have to get some points away from home.”He concluded.
