Accra Hearts of Oak former Goalie Sammy Adjei has taken a swipe at Ghana Football Association and Accra Hearts of Oak for his career miseries.

Peeved Sammy Adjei speaking to Kasapa Sports in an exclusive interview revealed that the GFA and Hearts' treatment to him was very awful.

“I will never forget about the dreadful treatment GFA and Hearts gave me prior to the 2006 Mundial qualifiers. Richard Olele Kingston told me he is going back to Turkey, but I sacrificed my career and featured in all the qualifiers but after we qualified they sidelined and gave the number one spot to Kingston”.

He also recounted the raw deal he had from Accra Hearts of Oak.

“Accra Hearts of Oak management were not fair to me at all after helping the club win more laurels they told me Coach David Duncan says he doesn’t need my services in the club anymore I got pissed off because Duncan is a coach who has never won any major trophy in Ghana so how can he dictate to the club management I was shocked” Sammy Adjei told Kasapa FM.

The 34-year-old has been clubless for the past three years since leaving the Club in 2013.

Adjei who last featured for the Rainbow Club has been keeping himself in shape with some personal training.
