Sampdoria and Torino start talks for Ghana’s Acquah

Sampdoria and Torino have expressed interest in signing Ghana midfield enforcer Afriyie Acquah this winter and talks are already underway with his agent Oliver Arthur, Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal.

Both sides are in need of a defensive midfielder and have identified the 22-year-old Ghanaian as the man who can bring stability to their middle.

Acquah, who is on a second successive loan spell at Parma from German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim, has failed to replicate the form which made him arguably the best player at Emilio Tardini last season and with the Gialloblu also battling relegation a deal could go through.

Currently Acquah, who is with the Black Stars in Equatorial Guinea and has also featured for Palermo, is valued at five million Euros.
