Ibrahim Sannie Daara, the former Ghana Football Association Communication Director, has voiced his support for Baba Rahman's inclusion in the Black Stars lineup for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic.

Since opting out of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Rahman has not donned the national colours.

Nonetheless, his triumph in the Greek Super League with PAOK has led Saanie Daara to advocate for the left-back's national team return.

Ghana is scheduled to face Mali in Bamako on June 6, followed by a match against the Central African Republic in Kumasi on June 10.

Rahman's season has been stellar, with 44 appearances, six goals, four assists, and a total of 3,564 minutes on the pitch.

In light of his exceptional season, Sannie Daara commended the ex-Chelsea defender's performance and recommended that the Black Stars' coaching team consider him for the imminent qualifying games.

"Ghana's Baba Rahman has concluded what may be the finest season of his career, topped with a Greek league championship with PAOK. The left-back's season tally stands at 44 matches, 6 goals, four assists, and 3,564 minutes of playtime. He is a crucial addition for the Black Stars in the approaching World Cup qualifiers," he expressed on X, previously known as Twitter.
