Italian side Sassuolo will not sell Ghana international Alfred Duncan to AC Milan despite making contact with the nerovredi for a winter move.
According to Italian sports portal, Calciocarmeto President of Sassuolo Giorgio Squinzi has ruled out a possible sale of the 25-year-old in January.
AC Milan's Sporting Director Leonardo has been a long time admirer of the swashbuckling midfielder but if a deal is to be reached, the Rosernerri's will have to cough up about 25 million Euros.
Alfred Duncan has been impressive this season for Sassuolo, playing 11 games and has registered one goal to his name and two assists.
Meanwhile, Sassuolo is eyeing European football next season as the club lies 11th with 25 points, just three behind AC Milan who is 6th on the table.
Duncan is also been monitored by Spanish side Valencia, as well as English club Tottenham Hotspurs and Inter Milan.
