Satellites romp in the goals ahead of Uganda tie

A sense of determination and confidence was evident as the Black Satellites ended their test match preparations with a 3-0 win over Eleven Wise in Sekondi.

Ghana's U-20 team, have won all three arranged matches against local sides ahead of their 2013 Africa Youth Championship qualifier against Uganda this week.

The team has now scored 10 goals in three games, having conceded one.

Maxwell Konadu's side on Sunday finished off with an impressive performance against the former Premier League side, Wise.

Goals from Benjamin Fadi, Jacob Appau and Joseph Baffour Gyewu handed the Black Satellites the win.

Before the game, the Black Satellites had also beaten Proud United 3-1 on Friday after a 4-0 thrashing of third tier side Mpilo FC on Wednesday.

Ghana plays the Hippos on the weekend of July 27-29 in Nakivubo in the first leg of the qualifiers for a place in next year's finals to be staged by Algeria.

The Black Satellites won the Africa Youth Championship and World Cup titles in 2009.
