Leicester City midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp will be available for selection when the club host Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Ghanaian has been in the treatment room since picking up an injury in training ahead of the Foxes' matchday three encounter with Swansea City last month.
He missed the season’s first two matches due to uncertainties over his future at King Power Stadium.
“Of course Burnley want to increase the tempo because they might think we’re tired [after Wednesday's Uefa Champions League game with Club Brugge] but I don’t believe it," Ranieri told the club's official website.
“Danny Simpson trained very well and he’s ready to play. [Nampalys] Mendy not yet.
"I think he needs another week and he starts with us.
"Jeff Schlupp is with us and he’s ready to play.”
Schlupp made 24 league appearances and scored once as the Foxes won the Premier League last season.
