Schlupp’s Leicester gathering pace in relegation dogfight

Ghanaian player Jeffrey Schlupp and his Leicester City side are gathering pace in their relegation dogfight to stay in the English Premier League.

Leicester who were promoted to the competition at the end of last season are currently place bottom of the league. A couple of wins has however moved them closer to within three points of safety having played a game less.

Leicester City beat West Ham United at home last week and masterminded a comeback win away from home against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Former Manchester United player Darren Fletcher opened the scoring for West Brom before David Nugent leveled for Leicester.

Craig Gardner took the home side 2-1 up in the first half but two late second half goals from Robert Huth and Jamie Vardy gave Leicester City a very necessary 3-2 victory.

Jeffrey Schlupp started and played in the full duration of the game.
